This temple is the only example of contemporary religious architecture in Zas. Its modern design contrasts with the rest of the churches in the municipality, but retains its function as the center of parish life.
It represents the continuity of the Christian tradition, adapted to current architectural forms, and is a symbol of the evolution of the community of Baio.
