The Department of Culture and Sports of the City Council of Zas promotes throughout the year a wide program designed for all audiences. The municipal libraries host activities to encourage reading, storytelling and theater schools for children and adults. <\/p>\n\n
Traditional festivals have a prominent place: Christmas arrives with theatre performances, circus, children’s workshops and the traditional Cavalcade of Kings; The Carnival is filled with music, costume contests, games and tastings; And during Holy Week, creative workshops are held for the girls.<\/p>\n\n
The program also includes cultural and educational events, such as celebrations around Galician Letters, exhibitions, conferences, book presentations and amateur theater shows. Summer is a time for camps, sports courses, hiking routes, environmental activities and festive gatherings such as the Children’s Party, the Bike Day or the Zas City Council Football Trophy. <\/p>\n\n
