Each edition receives dozens of proposals from amateur companies from all over Galicia, from which a jury selects the finalists to be represented in the auditoriums of Zas and Baio, with free admission until the end of the year. <\/p>\n\n<p>The format combines a <strong>jury prize<\/strong> and an <strong>audience prize<\/strong>, favoring the participation of the neighborhood in the evaluation process. In addition to the awards for the best plays, the performance is also recognized with awards for <g id=\"gid_2\">Best Actor<\/g> and <g id=\"gid_3\">Best Actress<\/g>. In recent editions, the Festival has included the <strong>Special Prize &#8220;Centenario Labarta Pose&#8221;<\/strong> for the best comedy, reinforcing the link with the humorous spirit of the Bahian author.  <\/p>\n\n<p>The financial endowment distributes several thousand euros among the finalist productions, with the aim of <strong>encouraging scenic creation<\/strong> and giving visibility to groups that work theatre with passion from the amateur field.
